0n 18th October 2012, Ms.Phacharin Sujaritwatanasak received the "Princess Ngarmchit Award" from Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsavali.

Ms.Phacharin has been playing a leadership role as group leader of the Dao Rung Group since 2010. The group is the first Self-Advocate Group of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities in Thailand and Mekong River Sub-region. APCD has been supporting her as APCD International Resource Person in the future as well as support the group to be amodel of self-advocates in the ASEAN region.
