On Friday, a political forum unlike any other pre-election event was held at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. Some 500 people with disabilities, relatives and representatives of disability organizations across the country filled a ballroom to capacity, and some 2,500 more tuned in via live webcast. It was the only political forum in the nation to focus solely on issues most relevant to Americans with disabilities.
